Energy efficient Google

I know that Google is doing everything to take over our lives as we know it. Who knew that they would actually expand their mega-reach to the philanthropic world? While I see nothing particularly wrong with the idea, I find it unusual that they are going to be pushing this new initiative about recharging hybrid cars.
